Quick guides

What to consider when choosing a domain name

  • Prefer a short name that is easy to read and remember, matching or close to your brand name.
  • Avoid repeated hyphens, easily confused digits and spellings that are hard to dictate over the phone.
  • Check that your brand name does not clash with a registered trademark to avoid disputes.
  • Register the domain in the real owner's name (individual or company) and keep the admin details safe.
  • Register both .vn and .com if possible to protect your brand.

How to configure domain DNS

  • A record: points the domain to the IP address of the hosting server.
  • CNAME record: points a subdomain (e.g. www) to another domain.
  • MX record: specifies the mail server for the domain.
  • TXT record: used for verification (Google, Facebook) and for SPF, DKIM and DMARC email settings.
  • After a change, DNS can take from a few minutes to 24 hours to update worldwide.

Preparing content before building a website

  • Your logo (source file if you have it), brand colours and websites you like for reference.
  • A company introduction and a list of products/services with prices and short descriptions.
  • Real photos: your shop, team, products, projects. The more real, the more trust.
  • Contact details: phone, Zalo, email, address, opening hours, social media.
  • The questions customers ask most, which are very useful for the FAQ page and SEO.

What is an SEO-ready website?

  • Every page has a clear title, description and URL containing the main keyword.
  • A sensible heading structure (H1, H2, H3) and content that is useful to readers.
  • Fast loading and good display on phones.
  • A sitemap, robots.txt, structured data (schema) and sensible internal links.
  • Images with alt attributes and optimised file sizes.

How to request technical support

  • Click "Request support" or contact us via Zalo or the hotline.
  • Include your website domain, a description of the problem, when it happened and screenshots if you have them.
  • Never send passwords by message; a technician will show you how to grant access safely.
  • Weme replies and gives you an estimated fix time during business hours.

Frequently asked questions

What does a website consist of?

A working website needs 3 parts: a domain (the address, e.g. company.com), hosting (where the data is stored) and the source code/interface (what visitors see and the admin panel). Weme handles all three so you don't have to deal with several providers.

What is template-based website design?

You pick a template from the gallery and Weme replaces the logo, colours, images and content with your own. This saves time and money, and you see the result in advance through the demo.

What is custom website design?

A completely new interface designed around your brand identity and business goals, with specific features. It suits businesses that need to stand out or have their own processes.

Is a cheap website a good idea?

A low price is fine if the scope is clear. What to check: whose name the domain is registered in, whether you can test before paying in full, what the running costs are next year and who helps when something breaks. Weme states all of these in the quote and contract.

How long does a website take?

Template websites are usually finished in 5–10 working days once the content is ready. Custom websites take 3–6 weeks depending on complexity. The exact timeline is set out in the contract.

What does the cost of a website include?

Design and development (paid once) and yearly running costs for domain, hosting and email (if any). Renewals equal the provider's list price plus a stated management fee. Every Weme quote includes a 3-year total cost table so you can see what you will pay in years 2 and 3.

Can I update the content myself?

Yes. The website has an admin panel for you to post products and articles and change banners yourself. Weme trains you in detail at handover.

What about warranty and maintenance?

Technical defects are covered for the warranty period in the contract. After that you can use the Care plan: Weme tests your forms weekly, monitors downtime, scans for injected links, backs up regularly and responds to critical incidents within 4 working hours.

Whose name are the domain, hosting and source code in?

Yours. Weme registers the domain, hosting, Google Analytics and Search Console with your details and only receives admin access to do the work. At handover you get a Digital Asset Register listing every account, where it is registered and when it expires.

What if I want to move to another provider?

You take everything with you. Weme hands over the source code, data, backups and admin access within 5 working days of your request, free of charge.

Do I have to pay in full before I can test the website?

No. You pay 40% on signing, 40% when you approve the live site (you have admin access to test it yourself) and the remaining 20% after the website has been live for 7 days.

Does Weme guarantee top rankings on Google?

No, because nobody controls Google's rankings. Weme commits to the work and reports real enquiries by source and page. With the monthly growth service, if the agreed targets are not met after 90 days you can stop without penalty.

Who fixes it if the website is hacked or injected with spam links?

On the Care plan, Weme regularly scans for injected links and malware, backs up before fixing and responds to critical incidents within 4 working hours. Websites Weme did not build can also be checked and fixed by Weme.

Does the website need to be notified to the authorities? What about invoices?

Websites with online ordering must be notified. From 1 July 2026 the filing goes through the National Public Service Portal and is confirmed by the provincial People's Committee (previously filed with the Ministry of Industry and Trade); Weme helps prepare the documents and policies. Invoices separate design fees from infrastructure fees (domain, hosting) so your accountant can book them correctly.

Need direct help?

Weme technicians are ready to help during business hours.
